- Introduction to REMOTE TRIGGER EXPERIMENTS by M-Tech. research scholars of NITK, Surathkal.
- Practical session (Hands on session).

- College wise quiz computation was conducted, out of 8 students two got 1st and 2nd

Workshop on Learning Management System Using Moodle
Workshop on LMS using Moodle was organized was on 29th and 30th January 2016 for the benefit of our faculty members.. The programme was inaugurated Dr. S G Gopala Krishna, Principal, Dr. N G S Udupa, Vice Principal, Dr. Srikanthamurthy, Vice Principal and Dr. P Harisha, Dean.
Prof Sarvesh, HOD, Mathematics, gave the preamble for the programme and Mr. Yogeesha H C, welcomed the dignitaries. Dr. Y S Kumar Swamy, Dean-R&D, proposed vote of thanks.
28.01.2016, One day workshop on Energy and Water Conservation
One day workshop on Energy and Water Conservation is organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering on 28.01.2016 for the benefit of non-teaching staff members of the college.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest Mr.Nagaraju, Director, Blue Volt Services Ltd., Guest of honour, Mr Rakesh Shay, Director A-Cube Pvt Ltd., and Principal, Dr S G Gopalakrishna.
Dr. N Kapilan, HOD-Mech and coordinator of the programme introduced the chief guests and welcomed the participants. Mr V A Kulkarni, Assistant Professor, proposed vote of thanks.
Three day workshop on Mircochip PIC18 by EC Department
A three day “Hexapod workshop on Microchip PIC18 Microcontroller” is conducted on 15th , 17th and 29th March 2015. About 40 students were attended the workshop and successfully completed assigned task using HEXAPOD.
During valedictory function on 29/03/2015 Sunday at 3.30 pm. Mr. Santhosh Baichwal , Sales Manager, Microchip India, presented corporate seminar. Mr. Nithin Awasthi, Trainer APSIS solution and Dr. Jayadeva G. S., HOD – ECE, NCET were present.
Mr. Nithin Awasthi announced prizes for best students and given opportunity for one M.Tech student with stipend and two groups of UG students to carry out their project in APSIS.
