Inauguration of First year M.Tech classes for the academic year 2013-14 was arranged on 23.09.2013 at the College Auditorium. Dr. K S Deshikachar, Director, NES and Dr. S.G. Gopala Krishna, Principal, inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Dr. C V Srinivas, HOD-Civil, Global Academy of Technology, Bangalore was the Chief Guest for the programme.

Dr. N G S Udupa, Vice Principal and HOD-PG-Mechanical Department, Dr. Harisha P, Dean, Dr. Kapilan N, HOD-Mech, Dr. Jayadev, HOD-EC, Dr. Rajendra N, HOD-PG-Civil Engineering, Dr. Mohan Kumar TM, HOD-Civil Engineering, Dr. Shantakumar Patil, HOD-CSE and other Section heads were present on the occasion. The classes for M.Tech programmes in Machine Design, VLSI and Embedded Systems, Structural Engineering , Construction Technology  and Computer Science and Engineering were inaugurated during the event.
