IKYA 2014 – An Intercollegiate Fest of Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology was inaugurated on 28.3.2014 at 11.00AM by Shri Saluri Koteshwara Rao, a well known and renowned Music composer of South Indian Films. Shri J V Ranga Raju, Secretary, Nagarjuna Education Society(NES), Smt. Sridevi Ranga Raju, Founder Member , NES, Sri Sekhar Raju, President, NES, Sri J Chaithanya Varma, CEO,NES and Mrs. Bhanu Chaithanya Varma, Governing Council Member, NCET, Mrs. Sowjanya Ishara Prasada, NES and Mr. AVS Raju, were present on the occasion. Dr. S G Gopala Krishna, Principal, NCET welcomed the gathering. Shri Saluri Koteshwara Rao entertained the gathering with number of Telugu, Kannada and Hindi Songs. Dr. Manjunatha K, HOD-Chemistry, proposed vote of thanks.
The inaugural event was followed by number of cultural competitions like group song, classical dance, group dance, fusion dance, battle bands, street dance, etc. Students from various engineering colleges from Bangalore participated in the events.
