Kannada Rajyothsava was celebrated by transport department on 7.11.2013. Buses were decorated with flowers and pooja has been conducted for the buses. Drivers, Students and Staff using the transport facility have organized this event as part of the Kannada Rajyothsava.

A workshop on "Intellectual Property Rights" was organized by the department of Mechanical Engineering on 6.11.2013 in association with Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology.
