Faculty Development Programme on "Life Skills for Success -Relationship and Communication Skills" was organized on 24.11.2016 by the Department of Basic Science and Humanities.  Shri Adideva Giridhar Dasa and Shri Aravind Lochana Dasa were the resource persons for the programme.

Our Students of Civil and Electronics Engineering  bagged "Best Concept Award" in Make in India Competition held at Chennai.

A Technical talk on “Case study on repair and rehabilitation of heritage building” by Mr. Kasiram, AGM, BBR India Ltd. and “Test method for PSC end block as per FIP-1993 recommendations” by Dr. K. Kumar, Dean (R&D) was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering on 11^th November 2016.

A Technical Talk on "Effective Teaching" by Dr. Sudhaker Nayak, Former Director, NITK, Surathkal was organized on 8.11.2016.

Department of Information Science & Engineering organized Industrial visit to NAL on 21^st October 2016. Dr. Y. S. Kumaraswamy, Dean R&D, Mr. Mohan D. N., Asst. Prof. and Mr. Pramod accompanied the students. Dr. K. C. Gouda, Scientist-F, CSIR(C-MMACS), gave a talk on “Super Computers” and Mr. Prabhu, Senior technical officer, CSIR (C-MMACS) gave a talk on “Big Data Analytics”.

Technical Seminar on "Awareness on student mentoring program" was organised by the Dept. of Civil Engineering on 28.10.2016.  Resource person was Mr. Umesh B Rao, Secretary General, Association of Consulting Engineers(India).

Campus Placement Drive by Westline Shipping Corporation was organized on 27.10.2016.

A talk on Five  Principles to improve Focus in Academics and in Life through Diwali was organized in association with Harmonix Global Foundation on 27.10.2016.

Technical Seminar on "Engineering Mechanics and Sports" was organised by Dept. of Civil Engineering on 27th October 2016. Resource person was Dr. Jade Dattatri, Prof. (Retd.), NITK Surathkal.

“Hands on training session on Autodesk Fusion 360 software” was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering on 24.10.2016. Chief Guest Dr Ramesh Shankar Pudale, Manufacturing Accounts Manager inaugurated the program . The training session followed the inaugural programme.
