EC Students Selected for e-Yantra, Nationwide Robotics student competition

Standard

e-Yantra is a project sponsored by MHRD, Government of India, under the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT).

IIT Bombay under e- Yantra conducts nationwide student competition, since FOUR Years. In this scheme TWO teams of EC students of Nagarjuna College of Engg. & Technology got selected for 2014 competition, for the initial phase. One of the teams (Mr.Pavan Attavane, Mr.Rama Kumar K S ,Mr. Santhosh Rao Jadav S and Mr. Rajath R Under the Guidance of Dr. G. S. Jayadeva, EC HOD) selected for final round “e-Yantra Robitics Competition-2014 held on March 27^th – 28^th , 2015 at IIT Bombay” and secured 3^rd prize.

The students are awarded with cash prize of rupees twelve thousand (Rs. 12,000/-) in addition to stents TA & DA expenses. These students are also selected for final round interview for a “Senior Technical Project Assistant” JOB opportunity at e-Yantra Laboratory at IIT Bombay.

The EC department is also setting up e-Yantra Laboratory in a Month, under IIT Bombay guidance. Students & faculty can take project & research work using this Lab. Facility.

Seminar on StudSat-2 by EC Department on 13/03/2015

Standard

EC department under EC-SPECTRUM conducted a seminar on “Introduction to STUDSAT-2” on 13/03/2015 for 4th Semester EC students. The talk was presented by Mr. Vishwanathan.M.H, Mr. Abhishek. B, & Ms. Likitha. S. of VI semester EC, STUDSAT -2 team members of NCET.

The seminar was arranged to give basic knowledge to IV – EC students about STUDSAT-2 program, hence create interest among them to participate. Faculty also attended the seminar.

The sports day scheduled on 4.4.2015 is postponed to 25.4.2015 and Holiday has been declared on 4.4.2015.

The holiday declared on 2.5.2015 stands cancelled and is a working day. Thursday time table to be followed on 2.5.2015.
