” by Mr. Pradeep Salla, Technical Manager, Functional Verification & Emulation, Mentor Graphics Bangalore is arranged for VI, VIII Sem B.E, PG students and faculty members on 11/04/2015 at 11.00am in MBA seminar hall.
Mr. Pradeep Salla discussed about issues in verification of ASIC and steps involved in verification. He also discussed gap between colleges to corporate. On this occasion Mr. Jayarama Navada, Senior Application Manager and Mr. Ram Mona Palli, Dept. of higher education programme, Mentor Graphics were present.
Dr. G. S. Jayadeva, HOD, ECE, Dr. P. Harish, Dean, NCET , Dr. Shanthakumar Patil, HOD, CSE and Prof. Roopashri Tantri, HOD, ISE joined for a discussion on “Higher Education in India” along with Mr. Ram Mona Palli, Mr. Jayarama Navada and Mr. Pradeep Salla after the presentation.
EC department under EC-SPECTRUM conducted a seminar on “Introduction to STUDSAT-2” on 13/03/2015 for 4th Semester EC students. The talk was presented by Mr. Vishwanathan.M.H, Mr. Abhishek. B, & Ms. Likitha. S. of VI semester EC, STUDSAT -2 team members of NCET.
The seminar was arranged to give basic knowledge to IV – EC students about STUDSAT-2 program, hence create interest among them to participate. Faculty also attended the seminar.
Department of Mechanical Engineering is organizing a Technical Talk sponsored by KSCST on “Biofuel” on 24th March 2014. Dr. Balakrishna Gowda, Professor, GKVK will be the resource person for the programme.
A Technical Talk on “MEMS Devices and Applications” was organized on 18.02.2014 by the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering. Prof. K N Bhat, an alumnus of IISc Bangalore, IIT Madras and RPI Troy, New York has delivered the technical talk. Dr. S G Gopala Krishna, Principal, NCET inaugurated the programme and Dr. Jayadev G S, HOD-ECE, co-ordinated the event.
