Two Week Training Programme on “Composite Materials” under VTU Mission 10000 Programme
Department of Mechanical Engineering is organizing VTU sponsored Two week Training programme on “Composite Materials” under VTU Mission 10000 Scheme. The resource persons for this programme are from industries and successfully course completed students will be provided with certificates and assisted with Job opportunities.
Interested students are informed to register their details in the VTU website www.vtu.g2g.co on or before 5th June 2014 and also register their names with Mr. Ravi Y.V., Placement Co-ordinator of Mechanical Department. The screening test will be conducted on 13th June 2014.
Dr. N Kapilan, HOD-Mechanical Engineering will be co-ordinating this training programme.
Intensive Training on “Quantity Surveying” by Civil Department June 23 to July 5, 2014
Nagarjuna College of Engineering & Technology is conducting VTU fresh graduate engineers training program under Mission VTU Empower 10000, a program initiated and sponsored by our esteemed university.
The training is provided for the benefit of fresh graduates of civil engineering with the intention of enabling the graduates to get placed. Number of participants is limited to forty. The selection of trainees will be on merit basis and first come first served. The training on the topic “Quantity Surveying” is arranged for two weeks from 23/06/2014 to 05/07/2014. The training is free of cost as it is sponsored by university, but the students have to make their own arrangement for lodging and boarding. After the successful completion of training, placement assistance will be provided by inviting reputed construction companies.
Interested students may register their names in the website www.nagarjunaeducation.com/ncet on or before 14/06/2014. Selected candidates for training will be intimated before 20/06/2014.

A one day workshop on Latex was organized by the Department of Information Science and Engineering on 13.3.2014. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. S G Gopala Krishna, Principal, NCET and co-ordinated by Prof. Roopashree Tanthri, HOD-ISE. Dr. N G S Udupa, Vice Principal, NCET was also present on the occasion.
