A career guidance cum orientation programme was arranged on 23.11.2013 for the Nagarjuna PU College students. about 250 students attended the programme at NCET Auditorium. Dr. S G Gopala Krishna, principal NCET guided the students for selecting a suitable career. Mr. Monohar, Principal, Nagarjuna PU College initiated this programme which is very useful for the students.
College Cultural Club “Samskriti” was inaugurated on 16.11.2013 at 10.00 a.m. Shri Hamsalekha, renowned sandalwood Music Director has inaugurated the programme. A Guest Lecture on Robotic Puppet was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering on 31.10.2013.
Kannada Rajyothsava was celebrated by transport department on 7.11.2013. Buses were decorated with flowers and pooja has been conducted for the buses. Drivers, Students and Staff using the transport facility have organized this event as part of the Kannada Rajyothsava.
Awareness workshop on Health insurance schemes was arranged in the college on 21.10.2013 in association with Apollo Munich Health Insurance company. Company officials from Jayanagar branch of Bangalore visited the campus and briefed the staff about the need of health insurance and various schemes from the company.
Freshers Day was organized by the department of Management Studies on 11.10.2013. The function was inaugurated by Dr. S G Gopala Krishna, Principal-NCET. Dr. Sandhya, HOD-MBA was present on the occasion.

Fresher’s Day Function was arranged by the Department of Mechanical Engineering on 7.10.2013 at 11.00 A.M. The function was inaugurated by Dr. S G Gopala Krishna, Principal, NCET and Dr. Hari Bhat-Dean and HOD-PG(ECE). In this function, 3rd Semester Mechanical Engineering students were welcomed by the Seniors into the department. The students have arranged lot of entertainment programmes in the afternoon. Dr. Kapilan N, HOD-ME and Dr. Siddesh, HOD-ME-2nd Shift co-ordinated the events. Mr. Satish Kumar, Assistant Professor-Mechanical has guided the students in the conduction of the programme.
