EC Students Selected for e-Yantra, Nationwide Robotics student competition
e-Yantra is a project sponsored by MHRD, Government of India, under the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT).
IIT Bombay under e- Yantra conducts nationwide student competition, since FOUR Years. In this scheme TWO teams of EC students of Nagarjuna College of Engg. & Technology got selected for 2014 competition, for the initial phase. One of the teams (Mr.Pavan Attavane, Mr.Rama Kumar K S ,Mr. Santhosh Rao Jadav S and Mr. Rajath R Under the Guidance of Dr. G. S. Jayadeva, EC HOD) selected for final round “e-Yantra Robitics Competition-2014 held on March 27th – 28th , 2015 at IIT Bombay” and secured 3rd prize.
The students are awarded with cash prize of rupees twelve thousand (Rs. 12,000/-) in addition to stents TA & DA expenses. These students are also selected for final round interview for a “Senior Technical Project Assistant” JOB opportunity at e-Yantra Laboratory at IIT Bombay.
The EC department is also setting up e-Yantra Laboratory in a Month, under IIT Bombay guidance. Students & faculty can take project & research work using this Lab. Facility.

Our students won Second Place in Paper presentations
Our students Ms. Pranathi and Mr. Nishranth of 4th semester Electronics and Communication Engineering won Second Place in Paper presentations at One day State level seminar for UG & PG students on “THE EARTH IS OUR HOME & WE CARE FOR IT”.
Mechanical Engg student won prizes in KSCST sponsored Project Exhibition
Our Final year Mechanical Engineering students of 2013-14 batch participated in the KSCST sponsored project Exhibition held KLE Society’s BVB College of Engineering, Hubli on 28th and 29th of July 2014 and won prizes. Dr. N Kapilan guided the projects.

Six Students of M.Tech(Machine Design) participated and Won Prizes in Project Exhibition
Six students of M.Tech (Machine Design) participated in a M.Tech / M.E level Project work competition organized jointly byNational Design, Research Forum, The Institution of Engineers (India) & Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Bangalore on 05th July 2014. In the competition three of our students secured First 3 prizes leaving only 1 prize to participants from other colleges.
